Weekly Meeting 8 – AG’s Visit
The AG Mrs.Pamela Suresh advised us on how to qualify for the rotary citation. Based on her advises it was decided
to take the following actions
1. Appoint an active membership committee.
2. Achieve a net gain in membership.
3. Align a mix of business and professions in our membership mix.
4. Host an event to highlight Rotary networking opportunities.
5. Sponsor a youth exchange student or RYLA participant.
6. Contribute at least $100 per capita to the Annual fund of TRF.
7. Conduct a significant project in one of rotary’s six areas of focus.
8. Post successful projects with volunteering hours and funds raised on rotary.org.
9. Establish a partnership with a governmental or non governmental entity and work on a project together.
10. Use Rotary’s brand guidelines and templates.
11. Arrange the club members to talk to media about Rotary.
12. Organize a family oriented service project.
13. Organize a programme to enhance members leadership or professional skills.
14. Promote club members activities on social media at least 4 times a month.
15. Achieve a net gain of 5 or more members.
