Texcity Premier LEAGUE

Sports in Rotary Clubs build camaraderie, teamwork, and well-being. The Texcity Premier League, in its 5th year, started with 42 players competing in 88 matches at the Hindustan sports academy on 1st November.

Christmas Celebration

Anns and Annets of Rotary Coimbatore Texcity celebrated Christmas at Infant Jesus Deaf and Dumb school at Perianaickenpalayam. The inmates were treated to Christmas carols and songs and some treats to bring in the cheer of the season.

Better Together

Three of our Annets recently tied the knot with their partners, and the Rotary Coimbatore Texcity family celebrated with them. Congratulations to Varsha, Maria, and Neetusha on their weddings, filled with blessings and camaraderie.

The Covai Flower 6th Edition

Rotary Clubs of Coimbatore, along with the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, organized the 6th Covai Flower Show, attracting over 4 lakh visitors to the University Botanical Garden. With a theme of "Let your Dreams Blossom," the event showcased over 200 varieties of flowers, including rare exotic ones. Rotary Texcity's Anns curated "Jamboree," featuring 30 stalls of home-grown brands, contributing to community goodwill and image-building for Rotary.

Rotary Coimbatore Texcity always celebrates Onam the vibrant and cherished harvest festival with pomp and gaiety.

TRF Seminar 2023 Goodness for Humanity

The District TRF seminar was held at Hotel Le Meridian, Coimbatore on August 12th 2023. Rotary Coimbatore Texcity had the highest single club registration of 20 members.

Rotary Coimbatore Texcity Wins The Volleyball Tournament Organised by Rotary Coimbatore Uptown

Rotary Coimbatore Texcity participated in volleyball tournament organised by Rotary Uptown at Nehru Stadium grounds. The club sent in two teams.

Team A - Rtn.Vijayakumar, Rtn.Brijesh, Rtn.Jude Alex, Rtn.Rajesh, Rtn.Nanjan Balu, Rtn.Ilango

Team B -Rtn.Suresh Lund, Rtn.Senthil Raju, Rtn.Senthil, Rtn.Irfan,Rtn.C.Karthikeyan, Rtn.Vinod Kumar.

Team B won the tournament. The event was followed by fellowship and lunch.

The 3rd Board Meeting

On 3rd Sep 2023 Rotractor Maikchel Raj was installed as the 22nd President of Rotract Club of Coimbatore Texcity at our Texcity Centennial Hall. Rtr.Arjun was also installed as the secretary for the club. The Chief Guest of the evening was Rtn.Dr.Jayamurali Balaguruswamy, Director & CEO - KG Invicta Services P ltd. Also present were all the Senior District officials of Rotary and Rotract. The event was sponsored by our club.

Rotract Club of Texcity Installation
