Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity consists of a vibrant group of 72 Rotarians with their Families. A healthy mix of people from different vocations, was chartered on 4th April, 1990 with Rtn Rajshree Pathy as Charter President. The Rotary club of Coimbatore Texcity has been in the limelight for excellent works in all avenues of service, especially Youth Service and Vocational Service. Texcity meets every Wednesday at 7.00 pm at the Texcity Centenary Hall, their own premises on Sungam Byepass Road.

PRESIDENT'S
MESSAGE
Dear Rotarians, Friends, and Well-wishers,
It is my honor to serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity for the year 2025–26. With humility and gratitude, I accept this role and look forward to working together to create lasting impact through Rotary.
This year’s theme, “Unite for Good”, is a reminder that when we join hands with purpose, we can achieve extraordinary outcomes. Our club has a proud legacy of flagship initiatives such as RYLA, which inspires and empowers youth to become tomorrow’s leaders, and Eyeserve, which restores vision and brings hope to countless lives. These projects reflect our spirit of service and will continue to be our focus, along with new initiatives in education, healthcare, and sustainability.
With the passion, commitment, and collective spirit of our members, I am confident that this year will be one of growth, impact, and fellowship. I invite every Rotarian to actively participate, contribute, and make 2025–26 a truly memorable year for our club.

Premier League
Sports in Rotary Clubs build camaraderie, teamwork, and well-being. The Texcity Premier League, in its 5th year, started with 42 players competing in 88 matches at the Hindustan sports academy on 1st November.

Celebration
Anns and Annets of Rotary Coimbatore Texcity celebrated Christmas at Infant Jesus Deaf and Dumb school at Perianaickenpalayam. The inmates were treated to Christmas carols and songs and some treats to bring in the cheer of the season.
Better
Together
Three of our Annets recently tied the knot with their partners, and the Rotary Coimbatore Texcity family celebrated with them. Congratulations to Varsha, Maria, and Neetusha on their weddings, filled with blessings and camaraderie.

As the Rotary Calendar turns to 1st July every year, a new President automatically assumes office of his Rotary Club.

Building For Spine Injury Victims
The Rotary Coimbatore Texcity project aimed to construct a building dedicated to housing 20 accident victims of spine injuries for the Spine academy run by the Dawn Trust, at Annur which is already looking after 54 patients. This initiative was driven by the need to provide specialized care and support for individuals facing such challenges.

Texcity visited Rotary Nagpur Black Gold and exchanged Club flags
Flag exchange and Joint project with Rotary Club Of Nagpur Black Gold. 15 Rotarians and Anns from Rotary Coimbatore Texcity visited Rotary Nagpur Black Gold and exchanged Club flags. A joint project to support the partially blind was carried out.

Eye Camp & Diwali celebrations at the Peace Foundation
Rtn.Dr.Manoj Vakil, Ann Padmini Vakil, and their team conducted an Eye camp for Foundation inmates, screening 400 individuals, with 20 needing cataract surgery and ten mentally challenged inmates awaiting planned surgeries in the following weeks.

A Bhoomi Pooja
On January 8th, a Bhoomi Pooja marked the start of construction at the Spine Academy, funded by Rtn.Dr.Ramamurthy & Dr. Chitra's 20-lakh pledge from The Eye Foundation's CSR funds, accommodating 20 additional spinal injury patients and renovating the kitchen block.

A Helping Hand
On 22nd of August 2023 the Anns of Rotary Coimbatiore Texcity got to gether at Assisi Snehalaya, a remarakable NGO that provides support and care for individuals affected by HIV, including children and adults.
